How Can I Unlock The Internal Memory Of My Android Incredible 2 And How Can I Root The Phone

However, my biggest beef with the phone is my inability to access the 1 GB of internal memory space, as I did on the original Incredible. According to HTC, this is now a locked part of the phone, reserved for applications and application data, and not available to end users.

Also I have not found a way to root the phone.

Can anyone tell me, is there a way to unlock the internal memory and has someone come up with a way to root the phone?
