Audio level meter was showing a straight line during recording process. I adjusted mic volume, Audio I/O to respective settings, but did not get any result. What could be the possible solutions?

Is there a way around this? Could I install Skype and have them send me the text to that?

Have tried the USB port but nothing shows up on the TV. Any clues please? Thanks Allan
